(You are found to be lacking in experience)

An anthology of Icelandic expressions with sea themes. These were collected from oral and written sources, while travelling and meeting with fishermen, linguists, folklorists, and other people in Northern Iceland. Contour drawings of various marine life found in Iceland are also included in the publication.

Introduction by Sif Jóhannesdóttir, manager of the Húsavík Culture House.

This publication has been sold in various institutions such as the Reykjavík Maritime Museum, the Húsavík Whale Museum, and the Húsavík Culture House.

It is also in the permanent collection exhibition of the National Museum of Oslo, Norway, and in the artist book collection of the Iceland University of the Arts.
